While St. Joseph didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Bridgeton Bulldogs on Thursday as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Wildcats have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Liam Hurley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). Hurley was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.
