Soccer Game Preview: North East vs. Conneaut Area

The North East Grape Pickers will challenge the Conneaut Area Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North East will be strutting in after a victory while Conneaut Area will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, North East turned things around against Corry on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Beavers a 2-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Conneaut Area's offense. They lost 4-0 to Meadville on Saturday. Conneaut Area have struggled against Meadville recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Conneaut Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for North East, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

North East took their victory against Conneaut Area in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Grape Pickers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
