Football Game Recap: Houston Academy vs. McKenzie

Houston Academy were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past McKenzie 48-12. Houston Academy was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Houston Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. McKenzie came up with 12 to make it 28-12 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Houston Academy in the second half, holding McKenzie to a measly 0 points. The game brought Houston Academy to 1-0 and dropped McKenzie to a mirror-image 0-1.

Next week, Houston Academy take on Pike County at 7:00 PM. As for McKenzie, they will face off against Red Level.
