Basketball Recap: Creekside Comes Up Short

Creekside and Seminole squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Creekside had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Seminole Seminoles by a score of 59-56. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Seminoles from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Jorden Pittman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Seminole, going 10-for-21 to rack up 24 points and four steals. Pittman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Tarpley, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 16 points.

Creekside's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Seminole, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

Creekside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seminole, they will take on Apopka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Apopka will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Seminole surely won't give up without a fight.
