Softball Recap: Heritage Hills Comes Up Short

Heritage Hills lost against Castle back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots fell 7-2 to the Knights. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miriam Gordon, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Heritage Hills' loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Castle, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-11.

Looking ahead, Heritage Hills will challenge Forest Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Castle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boonville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
