Basketball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

Lisbon lost against Groveton last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lisbon Panthers were beaten by the Groveton Eagles 60-11. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Eagles are ranked fourth).

Lisbon's loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Groveton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Lisbon has already played their next game (against Pittsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Groveton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
