Baseball Game Preview: University Wildcats vs. Hamilton Yankees

University is 1-9 against Hamilton since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wildcats will challenge the Yankees at 2:00 p.m. University has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between University and Palisades, and Palisades kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats came up short against the Dolphins on Monday, falling 12-5.

Meanwhile, Hamilton can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Westchester by a score of 11-8.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Hamilton, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

University couldn't quite get it done against Hamilton in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 12-7. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
