Basketball Preview: St. Mary's Saints vs. St. David's Warriors
The St. Mary's Saints will venture away from home to take on the St. David's Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Mary's is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
St. Mary's saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 57-49 win over Lawrence Academy.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Mary's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kate Chamblee, who posted 16 points. Those 16 points gave Chamblee a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Janelle Gyampo, who had 15 points.
Meanwhile, St. David's earned a 41-28 victory over Ravenscroft on Monday.
St. Mary's better keep an eye on Jordyn Driggers. She was instrumental in St. David's win, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine steals. Driggers is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Anna Hauser, who earned six points and five steals.
St. David's was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
St. Mary's record now sits at 6-0. As for St. David's, their record is now 4-1.
St. Mary's didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against St. David's when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 38-32 win.
