Basketball Game Preview: Reagan Bison vs. Central Rockets

Reagan hasn't had much luck against Central recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Reagan Bison will face off against the Central Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Reagan heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Wednesday. They fell 60-49 to Somerset Academy.

Meanwhile, Central came up short against Somerset Academy on Friday and fell 65-56. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Reagan will have to contain Keri Foster as he made an impact in Central's last game. He almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. The game was Foster's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Willie Dye III, who posted six points along with 11 boards and three blocks.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Reagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.

Reagan lost to Central on the road by a decisive 65-47 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Reagan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
