Basketball Recap: Pleasant Home Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pleasant Home walked away with it. They snuck past the Florala Wildcats with a 69-63 victory on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Wednesday, they had to take a 63-52 loss.

Florala lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Elijah McMeans, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. McMeans is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Rayshon Coleman, who went 9 for 20 en route to 18 points and five rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Pleasant Home and bumps their season record up to 16-3. As for Florala, they moved to 16-2 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.
