Softball Recap: Amador Valley Dons vs. Benicia Panthers
Amador Valley lost to Benicia back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Amador Valley Dons came out on top against the Benicia Panthers by a score of 9-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dons.
Amador Valley let McKenna Charbonneau and Mai Falcone run wild. Charbonneau fired off two home runs and four runs while going 3-for-3, while Falcone went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Charbonneau has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lauren Tran, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Amador Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Benicia only managed eight hits.
