Baseball Recap: East Hamilton Victorious

East Hamilton came out on top against Signal Mountain on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Hurricanes took their game against the Eagles 7-4. The victory continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Peyton Harris, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs. He has become a key player for East Hamilton: the team is 8-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 7-14 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Grayson Maddox, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

The win got East Hamilton back to even at 15-15. As for Signal Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12-1.
