Recap: Elma Eagles vs. Montesano Bulldogs
After a string of three wins, the Elma Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 69-59 to Montesano. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Elma lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cason Seaberg, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was AJ Holmes, who scored 13 points.
Elma's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Montesano, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Elma will face off against Tenino at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montesano, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
