The Vista Ridge Rangers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Flour Bluff by a score of 44-42.
When it comes to explaining why Vista Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tavon Mcadams. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Howard, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Vista Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Flour Bluff, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Palmview the next time they take the court. Vista Ridge will host Palmview at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, while Flour Bluff will head out to face them at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
