Propelled by six state championships, Trinity is the most dominant high school football team from Kentucky over the last decade.
Based on MaxPreps methodology, the Shamrocks amassed 531 points from play from 2010 to 2019, to easily outdistance Male, which finished second with 272 points.
Trinity picked up addition points by finishing undefeated in 2011, 2016 and 2017 and earning national Top 25 rankings in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016.
Male won state crowns in 2015, when it finished 15-0, and 2018, and placed second in 2010 and 2019.
Our methodology includes:
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps state computer rankings (25 points awarded to the No. 1 team, 24 for No. 2 and so on).
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps national computer rankings (50 points for No. 1, 49 for No. 2 and so on).
