Softball Recap: Grayville Takes a Loss

Grayville was the 18-8 winner over Wayne City when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bison fell 10-5 to the Indians on Thursday. The Bison just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Addi Tate was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Zaley Cheadle, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Grayville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wayne City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coincidentally, Grayville and Wayne City will both be playing Webber the next time they take the field. The Bison will host the Trojans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
