Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Plains). Everything went their way against the Hereford Whitefaces on Friday as the West Plains Wolves made off with an 8-2 victory. Considering Wolves have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Hereford from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Jaiden Cervantes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win was the sixth in a row for West Plains, bringing their record for this year to 13-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six contests. As for Hereford, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Plains will welcome Perryton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (West Plains has won five straight at home, while Perryton won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Hereford, they will face off against Pampa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
