Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Fairfax Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-17.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Fairfax, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.

Hamilton and Fairfax will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Yankees see the court they'll take on Venice at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Fairfax, their break will end when they face Westchester at 3:30 p.m. on the 21st.
