Volleyball Recap: Upson-Lee Comes Up Short

Upson-Lee lost against St. Anne-Pacelli back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Vikings.

While Upson-Lee ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Anna Do was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 25 assists. She has been hot, having posted 20 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Upson-Lee now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the victory (which was their seventh in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Upson-Lee has already played their next game (against Pike County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will take on South Effingham in a tournament on Saturday.
