Basketball Recap: Holland Has No Trouble Against Global Concepts

Holland won the last time they faced Global Concepts and things went their way on Friday too. The Holland Dutchmen strolled past the Global Concepts Gators with points to spare, taking the game 67-48.

When it comes to explaining why Global Concepts lost, don't look at Eric Davis. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. Davis is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jose Castro, who posted nine points and five assists.

Holland has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Global Concepts, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holland will take on Tapestry at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Tapestry knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Holland likes a good challenge. As for Global Concepts, they will square off against Eden at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Eden will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Global Concepts surely won't give up without a fight.
