The Pinewood Prep Panthers will take on the Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pinewood Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Pinewood Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Wilson Hall, taking the game 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Max Poulakis made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one double.
In other batting news, Pinewood Prep got a big performance out of Finley Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Will Watson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics came up short against St. John's on Monday and fell 8-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Spears, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
Pinewood Prep's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Pinewood Prep has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .488. However, it's not like Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics struggles in that department as they've averaged .443. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
