Mendez found their leader in sophomore John Rodriguez, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for Rodriguez. Another player making a difference was Victor Sauceda, who posted five points in addition to 12 boards and six assists.

Robert F. Kennedy Community is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Mendez, their record is now 3-8.
