Soccer Recap: Averill Park Comes Up Short

Averill Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bethlehem Central Eagles, falling 5-1. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Averill Park struggled afterwards.

Averill Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Bethlehem Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Averill Park will head out on the road to take on Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethlehem Central, they will challenge Albany at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
