Basketball Recap: Columbia Now 10-3 over Last 13 Games

If Suwannee wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Columbia, they should've done a better job of containing Kadrian Wilson. The Columbia Tigers blew past the Suwannee Bulldogs, posting a 65-29 victory thanks in part to Wilson, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high.

Zamarion Jones was another key player, putting up two points and six steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.

Columbia has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Suwannee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will welcome Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Columbia has won four straight at home, while Madison County won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Suwannee, they will host Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
