Basketball Recap: Hayward Skates Past Spooner with Ease

Hayward won the last time they faced Spooner and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hayward Hurricanes took their contest with ease, bagging a 58-31 victory over the Spooner Rails.

Hayward has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Spooner, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Coming up, Hayward will head out to square off against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hayward is facing Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at the right time seeing as Chetek-Weyerhaeuser is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Spooner, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Barron at 7:00 p.m.
