Softball Recap: Alief Hastings Comes Up Short

Alief Hastings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-0 to the Fulshear Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.

Alief Hastings' loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Fulshear, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alief Hastings will welcome Foster at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fulshear, they will challenge Alief Elsik at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.31 runs per game on average), something the Chargers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
