Mount Desert Island and Camden Hills are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Windjammers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mount Desert Island is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Orono, who was ranked ninth at the time (Mount Desert Island was ranked tenth). The Trojans took a 34-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riots on Friday.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Camden Hills finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell 16-6 to Gray-New Gloucester. The contest marked the Windjammers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Camden Hills fell to 5-1. As for Mount Desert Island, they dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Mount Desert Island ended up a good deal behind Camden Hills in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 24-6. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
