Tarpon Springs has no trouble against Dunedin

The Tarpon Springs Spongers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 78-57 margin over Dunedin. That 21 points margin sets a new team best for Tarpon Springs this season.

Tarpon Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xavier Segobin, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Segobin also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Geramyah Porter, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 assists.

Dunedin lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aidan Laird, who scored 14 points. Keegan Paolillo was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Tarpon Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Dunedin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tarpon Springs will take on Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunedin, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hudson at 7:30 p.m. Hudson is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
