Baseball Recap: Valley Catholic Comes Up Short

Valley Catholic managed to slip by Seaside the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Valiants came up short against the Seagulls on Friday, falling 8-2. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Valley Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season. As for Seaside, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Valley Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Banks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seaside, they will be playing at home against Evergreen at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
