Redwood never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks, sneaking past 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Giants sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Redwood got a great performance from Matthew Knauer as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. Knauer has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Redwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TJ Beck, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Redwood pushed their record up to 17-8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tamalpais, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-8.

As of now, neither Redwood nor the Red Tailed Hawks have any future games scheduled.
