Trinity Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Seton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Gryphons will be taking part in a tournament against the Conquistadors at 4:45 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Trinity Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: The Covenant, who was ranked sixth at the time (Trinity Christian was ranked 13th). The Gryphons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The loss was Trinity Christian's first of the season.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Seton walked away with it. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Conquistadors who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. Seton got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Oakcrest's two. The game was the first time Seton have beaten Oakcrest on their pitch since April 4, 2023.

Seton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8-3. As for Trinity Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1-2.

Trinity Christian beat Seton 3-1 when the teams last played back in April. Will the Gryphons repeat their success, or do the Conquistadors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
