Buchholz put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Gainesville Hurricanes with a sharp 35-12 win. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

Buchholz didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dunae Chappell and Taylor Booth. Booth is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

Buchholz's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Gainesville, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buchholz will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Newberry at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Buchholz's defense has only allowed 4.6 points per game this season, so Newberry's offense will have their work cut out for them. Gainesville also won't see the field for a while: their next game is against Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. Gainesville has given up an average of 36.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
