Volleyball Recap: Calvary Chapel Christian Comes Up Short

Calvary Chapel Christian was the 3-0 winner over Neighborhood Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-14.

Calvary Chapel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Neighborhood Academy, they moved to 6-5 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Calvary Chapel Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Geibel Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on October 14. As for Neighborhood Academy, they will square off against Winchester Thurston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
