Volleyball Recap: Morro Bay Comes Up Short

Morro Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Garces Memorial Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2021.

Morro Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Garces Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-2.

Morro Bay has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Fresno Christian on the 27th. As for Garces Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Atascadero on the 27th.
