Softball Recap: Palisades Pumas vs. Ardrey Kell Knights
After flying high against South Point on Wednesday, Palisades came back down to earth. The Palisades Pumas lost 15-7 to the Ardrey Kell Knights on Thursday. Palisades has struggled against Ardrey Kell recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Palisades got a big performance out of Carli Chavis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Sanaa Dorsey, who went 1-for-4 with a home run.
On Ardrey Kell's side, they got a great performance from Aashna Shah as she pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Shah has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
