Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Takes a Loss

Wilmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Reading Memorial Rockets. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Wilmington's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Reading Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Wilmington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Waltham on the 17th. As for Reading Memorial, they will challenge Lexington at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
