There's no place like home for Patton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mitchell Mountaineers on Monday as the Patton Panthers made off with a 20-2 win. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Marleigh Carswell made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Carswell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
