Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boothbay). They came out on top against the Maranacook Black Bears by a score of 60-52 on Saturday. This was payback for the Seahawks, who suffered an 81-51 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Boothbay's record now sits at 4-9. As for Maranacook, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boothbay will venture away from home to challenge St. Dominic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Dominic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Boothbay likes a good challenge. As for Maranacook, they will head out on the road to take on Mountain Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Maranacook has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
