Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lausanne Collegiate walked away with it. They came out on top against the Fayette Academy Vikings by a score of 56-48 on Sunday. The win continues a trend for the Lynx in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Lausanne Collegiate's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zuri Mcclure led the charge by going 7-for-16 en route to 16 points along with five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Patrick Thompson, who posted 19 points and three steals.

Fayette Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Corbin Bowling, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Pike, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Lausanne Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Fayette Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season.

Lausanne Collegiate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 94-53 defeat against Trinity Christian Academy on the 18th. Fayette Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
