Softball Recap: Forest Hill Extends Winning Streak to Three

Forest Hill waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Provine Rams with a sharp 13-3 win.

Forest Hill let Kailie Banyard and LaPrecious Catchings run wild. Banyard scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1, while Catchings scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. Those three stolen bases gave Banyard a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ari Potter, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Forest Hill's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Provine, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

As of now, neither Forest Hill nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
