Baseball Recap: Valley Extends Winning Streak to Three

Valley hadn't done well against Johnson recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Vikings came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors, sneaking past 6-4. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Erick Velasquez, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Valley's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 4-9 when he doesn't).
