Softball Recap: Saint Viator Lions vs. Evanston Wildkits

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nazareth Academy, Saint Viator was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Evanston Wildkits by a score of 11-8.

Hannah Grossman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Grossman was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base.

In other batting news, Ava Moreno and Jillian Bollard did most of the damage at the plate: Moreno went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI, while Bollard went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
