While Mifflin County's win against Altoona wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Mountain Lions on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since May 14, 2024.

Malaina Maxwell was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Ava Baker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games.
