Westview came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Eastlake Titans with points to spare, taking the game 26-12. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wolverines' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Titans are ranked 562nd).

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Eastlake, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westview will challenge Rancho Bernardo at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastlake, they will welcome Olympian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
