Softball Recap: Arbor View Sets Scoring Season-High Against Faith Lutheran

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arbor View). They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over the Faith Lutheran Crusaders on Monday. Considering the Aggies have won five matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Addison Cordsen looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, Breya Hee was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Malaya Tellis, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.

Arbor View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Arbor View's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Faith Lutheran, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arbor View will venture away from home to take on Coronado at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Faith Lutheran, they will head out to square off against Bishop Gorman at 4:00 p.m. on the 8th.
