Anthem Prep came up short against North Valley Christian Academy on Monday, falling 15-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adam Beeman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Desert Heights Prep has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.75 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 13-4 to Bagdad. The Yote haven't had much luck with the Sultans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Desert Heights Prep fell to 6-1-1. As for Anthem Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Anthem Prep has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Desert Heights Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
