Preview: Beresford vs. McCook Central/Montrose
On Friday, McCook Central/Montrose are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Beresford at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
McCook Central/Montrose came within a touchdown against Elk Point-Jefferson last Friday, but wound up with a 20-27 loss.
Meanwhile, everything went Beresford's way against Sioux Valley last week as they made off with a 38-14 win. Beresford was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Beresford's victory lifted them to 1-1 while McCook Central/Montrose's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Beresford can add another positive mark to their record or if McCook Central/Montrose can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Beresford's step.
