Volleyball Recap: Mary Star of the Sea Falls to Sacred Heart of Jesus in First Game of Season

Mary Star of the Sea had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

While Mary Star of the Sea had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mary Star of the Sea will square off against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they will head out to challenge Immaculate Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
