Baseball Recap: Enterprise Beats Kemper County for Their Third Straight Victory

Enterprise waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over the Kemper County Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Garrett Neal, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Enterprise is undefeated when Neal posts two or more runs, but 5-12 otherwise. Brody Blackburn was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Enterprise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Kemper County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enterprise will venture away from home to square off against Newton County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kemper County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Kemper County Wildcats duke it out with Southeast Lauderdale Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on April 4.
