Baseball Recap: Blaine Takes a Loss

Blaine lost against Meridian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Blaine took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meridian. The Borderites have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blaine's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Meridian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blaine will challenge rival Lynden at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Blaine 1.8, Lynden 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Meridian is set to square off against their familiar foe Sehome at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
